Lenovo ThinkPad T520i – Impressive Business Laptop
Lenovo ThinkPad T520i – Impressive Business Laptop
If there’s one laptop range that is the first choice of many of the businesses in the market, it has to be Lenovo’s ThinkPads, and the simple reason for that is the fact that there aren’t many brands that are as reliable as Lenovo’s flagship model. The Lenovo ThinkPad T series among all of them has been the best, and the Lenovo ThinkPad T520i that we are covering here carries that immaculate tradition. The traditional 15.6 in Lenovo ThinkPad T520i gets plenty of hallmarks that make it such a popular brand. The ThinkPad T520i has the same curled shielding lip on the base and cover, the red trackpoint joined by a three of devoted buttons underneath the keyboard, and the easily recognizable logo in the corner of the wrist rest. The one thing that we would like to say about the Lenovo  [...]

Lenovo ThinkPad SL500 – Business laptop with a graphics card
Lenovo ThinkPad SL500 – Business laptop with a graphics card
Lenovo ThinkPad SL500 is a business laptop having high build quality. It is based on Intel’s Centrino platform and includes a lot of features for better performance and better power management. My review model had Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 processor with cycle speed of 2.4 Ghz. This is complemented by two gigs of RAM having frequency of 667 MHz. My test machine also had an Nvidia GeForce 9300 GS graphic card having memory of 256 MB. This is a dependable laptop and doesn’t have anything flashy. It was not as good as Asus’ M51Va which I also reviewed some time ago. But that laptop is faster with 4 gigs of RAM with 800 MHz frequency, and 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Lenovo ThinkPad SL500 has discrete graphics chip and this means that the system will easily take any  [...]

Lenovo ThinkPad X220 – Bumped up screen size
Lenovo ThinkPad X220 – Bumped up screen size
X-Series laptops from Lenovo are ultraportable high end machines made for business users who travel a lot. These laptops don’t compromise a lot and hence are popular with the businessmen. Lenovo ThinkPad X220 continues the tradition and also adds some new twists this time. The biggest change about the design is that it now has a 12.5 inch screen which is a bit unusual. This display size allows the chassis to be wider and also gives a spacious looking keyboard. This system is very different from other ones that you’d get in the market. Lenovo ThinkPad X220 has second generation Core i-series CPUs and these chips promise faster speed without compromising on battery life. It is really good to see this combination in a laptop but this system is still a bit behind the 13  [...]

Lenovo N100 – Intended For Small or Medium Sized Businesses
Lenovo N100 – Intended For Small or Medium Sized Businesses
The Core Duo based models of N100 will be priced at $999, and Lenovo is targeting small business and mobile professionals with this laptop. As per us, the Notebook is more of a consumer notebook having the lustrous screen, silver skin and plastic casing. There are plethora of buyers in the market who likes mixing business with pleasure in today’s world, or there even are people who like using business notebooks for a more personal use. The Lenovo N100 has plenty to offer and has very less worthwhile qualities, and hence Lenovo targeting those two particular segments makes complete sense. Lenovo N100 Specifications:

Lenovo 3000 n200 – Intended For Small Businesses
Lenovo 3000 n200 – Intended For Small Businesses
We had our review unit for $1,599, because of several upgrades that we asked for, but even then it is a lot cheaper than a similarly configured HP Pavilion dv6500t, Toshiba Tecra A9 and Gateway E-475M. Now seeing at the comparative cheap price tag of Lenovo 3000 n200 we thought that the system will struggle in competing against these high priced systems in our benchmark tests, but it held its ground very well, though it lagged behind a little in our 3D gaming benchmark test and even delivered decent battery life. Now if you are influenced by the performance of N200, then let us make it very clear that the system doesn’t have media controls, full speakers and a lot of other consumer-friendly features that are seen on the Gateway and the HP, instead of all this the system  [...]

Lenovo N200 – Nicely Configured Laptop
Lenovo N200 – Nicely Configured Laptop
Pros: The Lenovo N200 has a strong build quality and easily upgradeable components. In addition to this the system flaunts a bright and lively screen; comfy touchpad having superb tactile feel from the keyboard buttons and ThinkPad style keyboard. Cons: Vertical viewing angles could easily be amended and the system comes with cooling fan with ADHD. Review: The Lenovo N200 is a mid-range consumer laptop which enters the market to compete with Dell E1505, Toshiba A200/205 and some other laptops form the same mid-range consumer laptop range. The N200 model could be seen as a refreshing update to the earlier N100 line, having enhancements like the Santa Rosa chipset, express card rather than Windows  [...]
