Gateway Laptop battery : How to get most out of it
Gateway Laptop battery lasts longer if the brightness is pulled down. A lot of energy is spent in illuminating the display and hence you should lower it when not needed. If you are just listening to music, the display can be switched off completely. If you are typing on the laptop then you will need good brightness levels. Don’t push the screen brightness to a level where you cannot read it anything at all. It will be a miserable experience. In fact, it is always recommended that you keep the brightness of the screen low because it doesn’t strain your eyes much.
Another way to get the best out of your Gateway laptop battery is too switch it off when not needed. Or if you are going to use it frequently, put the notebook in sleep mode between the sessions. [...]

The Gateway ID49C08u is a thin and stylish offering from Gateway, the ID49C08u, comes with a slim form factor coupled with Core i3/i5 processors and an optical drive, and is different from the conventional designs that the company offers. When we last reviewed Gateway's fresh thin laptop, it was in the form of the budget-price $629 ID49C07U from our 2010 retail desktop and laptop back-to-school roundup. The ID49C08U is priced significantly high, and costs around $849, but at the same time it comes loaded with an Nvidia GeForce GT330M GPU having Optimus automatic-switching graphics and an Intel Core i5 processor.
Though, the specifications here are tempting and the price is decent, but several similar systems having higher-end touches doesn’t cost that much, counting the HP Envy 14 that [...]

These low prices of netbooks indicates only one thing and that is the eagerness of the PC makers in market to up sell, and there even are some systems having larger HD displays, better CPUs, more RAM and graphics ability. One such example is the Asus Eee PC 1201, which combines a bigger screen with Nvidia's Ion GPU, which sometimes we calls a “premium Netbook” [...]

Gateway NV5933u – An Affordable Blu-ray Laptop
So finally we all seem to admit the fact that the Blu-ray drive is here to stay, and to stay here for a while. But that certainly doesn’t mean that consumers in the market are ready to put their money on a system, just because it has a Blu-ray player.
But whatsoever, you don’t have to worry about that. The price of the Netbooks, having Blu-ray, is constantly dropping and many of the other machines are offering it as an upgrade option. But despite all this, the price at which the Gateway NV5933u, a 15-inch Core i3 laptop is offering is simply amazing. This Gateway NV5933u with Blu-ray is priced only meager $650.
Design
In terms of looks the Gateway NV5933u is pretty much identical to most of the recent Gateways that we reviewed from the NV line. And hence [...]

Gateway LT3103u – Reasonably Priced, High Performing 11-inch Netbook
Intel’s Atom CPU dominates the battle of Netbook market supremacy single handedly, though there are some stern contenders in the form of Via CPUs and AMD. This is what stunned us when we found so much to like about in the 11.6 inch Gateway LT3103u, which actually uses an AMD Athlon 64 L110 processor. On top of it the AMD Athlon processor of LT3103u gave it performance smoother than most of the Atom-powered Netbooks, but this didn’t have any impact on the price of the Netbook.
The huge screen of the system has a high-definition 1366 x 768 resolution, which now a days is getting pretty common in the high-end Netbooks. But priced at $379, the Gateway LT3103u is reasonably priced than most of the other 11 inch Netbooks that we’ve seen, such as the Asus Eee PC 1101HA along with some of [...]

Now if you remember the Gateway NV7915u, which we reviewed some time back and applauded for its 17-inch display, huge hard-drive capacity, Intel Core i3 processor, munificent RAM and lucrative price of $599. All these features made it a great all-around laptop for a dream price.
Just as its precursor the Gateway NV7901u is a real deal at $849 and with a 2.26 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, in addition to out-and-out ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics which are much better than average. The NV7901u for its extra $250 price hike gives you an upgraded processor and graphical capabilities, [...]
