Dell XPS 15 (Intel Core i7 Sandy Bridge) – Zippy
Dell XPS 15 has a hinge forward design that is also seen in other Dell notebooks like Mini 10 and Inspiron R. The screen is pushed a bit forward with regards to keyboard and the rear end has chunk which is significant. There is also a backlip with a couple of rear-facing ports which include power jack, Ethernet, Mini DispalyPort, HDMI and one of the two USB 3.0 ports. This lip feels like a dock and it gives a desktop like look to the Dell XPS 15 by keeping the wires away. However, these ports are hard to access when you are putting the system on your lap.
Dell XPS 15 has thick chassis which has some noticeable flex on the sides and this gives an impression that the laptop isn’t really built solidly as compared to other high end notebooks like HP Envy and Apple MacBook [...]

The XPS 17 3D weighs more than 8.2 lbs, and although it could be called a laptop, we wonder whether the system actually will see a lap ever or not. The specifications of the system are pretty progressive all across, starting from: 12 GB of RAM, 2 GHz Core i7, a Blu-ray optical [...]

Dell Inspiron 1420 – Available in a variety of colors
Design of the Dell Inspiron 1420 is cleaner than the predecessor model which had a kind retro-futuristic and angular look. The chassis has a black bottom and the silver trim too is there. You get to choose from eight colors now for lid like Espresso Brown, Ruby Red, Flamingo Pink, and Midnight Blue. Models in the line of 1420 start from $800 and my test unit was well equipped with plenty of power. The cost of my review model was priced at $1,807.
The new Vostro machine is made for small business purposes and Dell has tailored the new Inspiron laptops for catering to the needs of home PC buyers. Dell Vostro 1500 – Versatile System For Home And Business Users
The solid black styling of the Dell Vostro 1500 makes the Spartan design of the system pretty professional. The system definitely is not like some of the other high end laptop, but surely is pleasingly designed and wouldn’t upset your eyes. The LED’s used in the system have a nice and saturated blue color. Though, Dell has been a bit inconsistent with the design and plenty of lights like the battery level LEDs, the “Wi-Fi Catcher” LED and the CD drive LED are green. Apart from this, the battery low light of the system has an odd pink color, which doesn’t goes with anything in the system. Though it’s not such a bigger issue, but yes we [...]

Dell Latitude E6400 – Business Centered Laptop
Most of the company laptops are either a Dell Latitude or a Lenovo ThinkPad, and that’s pretty justified, both these brands are capable performers and are pretty common sight in the cubicles. The reason behind this is the immense capability of these laptops to perform as per the need of medium-to-large businesses.
The Dell Latitude line-up now is getting a much-deserved makeover and the most prominent break from the predictable gray look is the all new black fleecy metal design. The Dell Latitude E6400 that we are reviewing here is among the very few laptops to receive this makeover.
