The Japanese markets have always been conducive to small laptops and have always favored portability and performance.
The Asus Eee PC 1018P comes loaded with 2GB memory, a 1.83GHz Atom N475 CPU, a 320GB hard drive which comes with installed version of Windows 7 Home Premium in a 32 bit embodiment.

Apart from all the abovementioned features, the connectivity options for the 1018P include Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi and in addition there is a USB 2.0 port. The system comes loaded with USB 3.0 connectors both of which are USB 2.0 compatible.
The Asus Eee PC 1018P measures 262 x 179 x 18-21mm, and weighs around 1.1kg, this mini laptop will cost ¥59,800 equivalent to £451 to the consumers. This definitely will hurt some of the consumers because Asus and Expensive doesn’t go well. Also the system only has a 1024 x 600 screen which is driven by Intel’s integrated GPU.
